Wealdstone have an opening day to remember

Wealdstone FC cruised to victory on the opening day of the Vanarama National League South this afternoon thrashing Dartford FC 4-1.

Although Ross Lafayette gave the home side the lead after just nine minutes, the Stones had to wait till the second half to seal the win with a Dartford own goal, a Connor Stevens strike and Lafayette notching his second to secure the points.
