Northwood held off a fight back from Berkhamsted this afternoon to grab a 3-2 victory in a pre-season friendly.
Marley Hamilton put the Woods 2-0 up after 25 minutes and the visitors were 3-0 up before half time.
There was a tense finish for the Woods when the home side reduced the deficit with a penalty seven minutes from the end.
Berkhamsted brought it back to 3-2 with just minutes to spare but the Woods came away with a hard-earned victory to build on their encouraging pre-season campaign.
