Hemel Hempstead Town also made a dream start to their National League South campaign beating Hungerford Town 4-1.
After the visitors cancelled out Liam Nash’s opening strike, it was 1-1 after half an hour and Hemel went in 2-1 ahead at half time.
The Tudors extended their lead just three minutes after the break and ensured a comfortable victory when Nash grabbed a second with 85 minutes on the clock.
