A new exhibition about a beloved children’s author is coming to a Pinner museum.
The Heath Robinson Museum is paying homage to Pinner-born former Children’s Laureate and author of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, Michael Rosen.
In their announcement, the museum said: “The Heath Robinson Museum is proud to present Michael Rosen: The Illustrators, a new exhibition exploring Michael Rosen’s books and the many talented artists who have illustrated them throughout his 50-year career.”
Michael has written more than 200 books and has won several notable awards, including the 2023 PEN Pinter Prize and the annual J.M. Barrie Lifetime Achievement Award from the charity Action for Children’s Arts in 2021.
Michael Rosen: The Illustrators will feature Michael’s characters, scenes and pictures from his books, illustrated by Sir Quentin Blake CBE, Helen Oxenbury, Chris Riddell OBE and Korky Paul.
The exhibition will be open from June 29 to September 22 at the Heath Robinson Museum in Pinner Memorial Park. To find out more, head to www.heathrobinsonmuseum.org
