WITNESS APPEAL: Woman left with serious injuries after collision in Watford

Officers are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a serious collision in Watford.

It happened in Ridge Lane, close to the junction with Nascot Wood Road, on Friday, August 1 at around 4pm and involved a black Tesla X and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital, where she remains with serious injuries.

Detective Sergeant Shona Birkby, from the constabulary’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.

“I also want to ask any dashcam owners who were in the area at the time to please check their footage and upload anything you have captured that may help the investigation to: herts.police.uk/dashcamupload.
