Police are appealing for witnesses and information as part of continuing enquiries into a serious road traffic collision in Bushey Heath.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 10, at around 6.15pm, on High Road.
It is reported that a white Peugeot van was in collision with a pedestrian at the bus stop, near to the junction with The Rutts.
The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 80s, sustained life-changing injuries and remains in hospital at this time.
Sergeant Timothy Davies, from the Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances around what happened and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or captured dash cam footage, to please contact us. “If you have any information, please email me at timothy.davies@herts.police.uk.”
