Police in Rickmansworth are continuing to investigate an incident of public order and are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police.
The incident happened in the park next to Rickmansworth Aquadrome, off Frogmoor Lane, just before 4.30pm on Saturday, July 26.
The male victim reported that he was racially abused by a man who shouted at him. Officers attended and spoke to the victim at the time before launching an investigation, which remains ongoing.
Sergeant Colin Cheesewright, from the Rickmansworth Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are continuing the investigate this incident and have now reached a point in our inquiry where we would like to extend our appeal for information to the public.
“I know that a few weeks have passed but the weather was good on the day in question and so the area was busy with people, some of whom may have witnessed what happened.
