Detectives have launched an investigation into a serious assault in Garston.
It was reported that at around 8.45pm yesterday evening (Sunday, August 31), there was a large disturbance at The Badger public house on The Gossamers.
The incident involved a number of people, and at least one man sustained injuries after reportedly being hit with an object.
A 19-year-old man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of GBH. He remains in police custody.
Detective Sergeant Mikey Logue, of the Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “I would like to appeal to the public for any information relating to this incident.
“I am aware that there were people present at the time of the incident, and I want to speak to anyone who witnessed it.
“Additionally, if you were outside the pub and witnessed anything or have any further information that would assist the investigation, please contact me.”
