An air ambulance landed in Croxley Green last month to attend to a skateboarder with serious injuries.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to Skateboard Park at 7.34pm on July 11 to reports that a man in his 20s had been injured in a fall.
Doctor Patricia Mills, Critical Care Paramedic David Killingback and Supervisor Gary Spitzer on Anglia Two assisted paramedics at the scene by administering pain relief, sedating the patient and helping to splint the injury.
The patient was then taken to Watford General Hospital by EEAST road ambulance for further treatment.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “One man was transported by road ambulance to Watford General Hospital with a serious lower limb injury.”
Local resident named Stuart on his YouTube channel uploaded a video of Anglia Two as pilots Roshan Jaypalan and Lee Kennedy took off from Baldwins Lane Recreation Ground.
