Police attended an address in Watford at around 4.10pm on Wednesday, April 5, to conduct arrest enquiries for a man who is wanted for failing to appear in court.
This was in connection with charges relating to grievous bodily harm and assault on an emergency worker.
A man subsequently fled from the address and a search of the area was carried out, with assistance from a police helicopter.
He was not found and enquiries are continuing to trace him.
