A Hertfordshire charity which provides a crucial domestic abuse helpline has been shortlisted for a chance to win a share of £10,000.
The Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline who provide a confidential free support service for anyone affected by domestic abuse have been shortlisted as part of Ashtons Estate Agents Life’s Great Causes charity fundraiser.
This nomination means that the charity is in with a chance of securing a share of £10,000 which would be crucial in helping the charity to continue their vital work.
The charity is overjoyed and shared the news on their Facebook page.
The post said: “We’re extremely excited to have been shortlisted for Ashtons Estate Agents Life’s Great Causes charity fundraiser.
“It’s the chance for us to win a share of £10,000! This couldn’t come at a better time with the increased demand we’ve seen for our Helpline since the first lockdown in 2020.”
