VICTIM NAMED: Man killed in Bushey stabbing named by police

The man who died following a stabbing in Bushey on Saturday, November 29, has now been named.

Jeyanthan Ramachanthran, 32, was stabbed outside Vu Lounge in Bushey.

He was taken to hospital following the attack where he sadly passed away.

His family are being supported by specialist officers and they have asked for privacy at this difficult time.

Detective Inspector Lee Martin, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “My thoughts remain with Mr Ramachanthran’s family and friends.

“If you have any information that could assist our enquiries and have not already spoken to police, please get in touch.”

Dequarn Williams, 25, of Sancroft Close in north-west London, remains in custody charged with murder. He will next appear at St Albans Crown Court on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

A woman, aged in her 30s, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, remains released on bail while the investigation continues.
