Watford Swimming Club (WSC) are “extremely proud” after one of their swimmers helped Hertfordshire win first place in an Inter Counties Championship (ICC).
Honor Davies joined Watford Masters two years ago and has continued to improve.
After competing in the recent club championships, she was selected to represent Hertfordshire at the ICC on Sunday, November 9.
Paul Meyler from WSC said: “We are extremely proud of Honor and what she has done for the club. It’s a great achievement to represent Hertfordshire at this level.”
Following her success, Honor won’t be slowing down any time soon.
She said: “I’d like to continue to compete and my ambition is to go sub 28 seconds in a 50m freestyle.”
WSC is an inclusive club with members from eight years old all the way through to masters. Their vision is to work hard together and to strive to provide every swimmer with the opportunity to achieve their best.
