What started out as a few sketches for fun board game concepts, has turned into an adventure for a civil engineer and project manager from Kings Langley, who has turned the sketches into reality.
Yogeeta Chhatralia combined her love for bridges, tunnels, board games and strategy to create the board game Under and Over.
During the pandemic, Yogeeta was getting bored of the board games she had and decided to create her own, as she wanted something that would be more replayable and allowed you to use strategy, critical thinking and creativity.
Under and Over is a strategy-based construction game, where you challenge your opponent to score the most points and aim to be the first to connect all the cities on the board via bridges and tunnels.
Players must navigate different terrains using different types of structures to connect the cities. The more complex the structures you build, the more points you gain.
The game will soon be launched on Kickstarter, and you can find up-to-date information on Instagram
