Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in St Albans.
At around 12.10am on Wednesday, September 28, two men became involved in a verbal altercation which became physical. It started on Holywell Hill and moved on to Albert Street. One man suffered bruising as a result.
A 36-year-old man from Harpenden was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Adam Bates, from the Case Investigation Team, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw this incident or has CCTV footage of it as this would assist the investigation.
