A partnership between Peace Hospice Care in Watford and one of the area’s leading manufacturers and installers of doors, windows and conservatories grew even stronger last month.
That’s because Right’s Units, who are based at the Empire Centre in the town, got to work on refitting all the windows at the health facility on Peace Drive, Watford.
Skilled workmen from Right’s Units spent three weeks on site.
Andy Wright, owner of Right’s Units, gave some more detail on the project.
Trading for more than 30 years, Rights has built up an excellent reputation for supplying quality products and completing installations without hassle or delay, and offering real value for money.
He said: “We have been taking out all the existing windows and supplying and fitting new ones. It’s a very prestige building which they are keen to keep to the original character and it is also listed so it is important that they look as they are at present. The original building has up and down sliding sash windows so they wanted something to mimic the original look.
“We are very pleased they picked us to do the work and work closely with us considering what is going on at the moment. They are pleased with what is going on which is extremely important to us.”
Hilary Lythgoe, head of facilities and IT at the hospice, said: “Peace Hospice Care are pleased to be working with Rights on our window refurbishment. We had budgeted for our window replacement for a number of years as many of the existing windows had become unusable due to their age. We are looking forward to seeing the final result once the windows are restored to their original look. I am very proud to work for Peace Hospice Care and appreciate all the local support that we have been shown as we certainly need it during these difficult times. “
