Detectives investigating an assault in Croxley Green are appealing for witnesses, information and dashcam footage.
The incident happened on Watford Road, near to Rickmansworth School, at 3.30pm on Friday, September 8.
Two 15-year-old boys were assaulted by a group of young males. One victim suffered injuries to his mouth which required hospital treatment, while the other was left with bruising to his face.
It’s believed the offenders left in the direction of Bateman Road following the incident.
Four people – all males aged between 14 and 16 – have been arrested in connection with the assault. Three have been released on bail while enquiries continue, and the fourth remains in police custody at this time.
Detective Constable Anna Cornish, from the Three Rivers Local Crime Unit, said: “This assault happened at a busy time of day, when students would have been leaving the nearby secondary school, and parents would have been collecting them.
“Were you in the area at the time? Could you have captured something of note on your vehicle dashcam? If you think you may have information that could assist us, please get in touch as soon as possible, quoting reference 41/72063/23.
“The school is assisting us with our enquiries, and we are supporting both victims as our investigation continues.”
