A CBeebies star, a Love Islander and a former resident of Brookside are some of the familiar faces who will be appearing in Watersmeet Theatre’s pantomime production of Aladdin this December.
Joseph Elliott, well known to child audiences as the cook in CBeebies’ Swashbuckle, will be starring as the villainous Abanazaar in the show, which is set to run from Friday, December 9 to New Year’s Day in the Rickmansworth venue.
He will be joined by Love Island legend Amy Day as the Genie of the Ring and Steven Pinder, well-known to older audiences as Max Farnham in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside, as the eccentric emperor.
Also starring is the hilarious Nick Barclay as the iconic Widow Twankey, Christian James as her daft but lovable son Wishee-Washee and Seren Sandham-Davies as the hero of the story, the titular Aladdin.
The show, which is being jointly produced by Jordan Productions and Watersmeet, promising baddies to boo, live music and lots of laughs as the genie tries to keep up with all of the character’s many wishes.
