Croxley Park gave local families the chance to see in the holiday season in style at its free fete last Thursday afternoon.
Over 550 people attended the festivities on the Croxley Park Sports Field, including those working on the Park and their friends and families. Others joined them in enjoying the live music, flying down the helter skelter and winning prizes at the traditional stalls.
The community event boasted a bumper size programme with something for adults and children alike. There was hair braiding, a bubbleologist and even a swing boat ride.
Music was supplied by both a marching drummers and a brass band performing current hits – both bringing a party atmosphere to the event. Pimms, cider and other summery drinks were also freely available.
Croxley Park catered to the needs of those working up an appetite with a selection of mouth-watering barbequed wraps plus slushies, candy floss and ice cream were all available to replenish energy levels after plunging down the helter skelter.
