College goes for gold

Published on: 23rd July 2018   |   By: Jason Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

West Herts College’s Higher Education provision, which has a campus in Kings Langley, has been awarded with TEF Gold accreditation, one of only 21 colleges in England and the only college in Hertfordshire.

The Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) is an exercise introduced by the government in England, to assess higher education providers’ levels of excellence in terms of teaching and ensuring students get good outcomes, whether graduate-level employment or further study.

TEF Gold is awarded for delivering consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students. The TEF panel assessed that West Herts College has an integrated approach to academic and personal support systems which facilitates highly personalised learning for its students.

Scott Isaacs, director of higher level learning at the college, said: “We are extremely proud of our students and their academic achievements. This award recognises the exceptional work of our teachers and wider support teams to help our students realise their higher education goals.”

With UCAS Clearing 2018 officially open, you can still secure your place for September. Check out West Herts College’s Higher Education offering via their website.
