Pinner Players returned to the stage earlier this month for a performance of a serious drama about the troubles in Northern Ireland.
The theatre group returned to the stage at Pinner Village Hall on November 17, 18 and 19 for a performance of Jez Butterworth’s The Ferryman.
Speaking to PinnerNews before the performances, Katherine Sayer, chairwoman of Pinner Players, said the group was blown away after selling out all three shows.
She said: “We are actually staging it on the floor of the hall with the audience sitting on either side, which will draw the audience into the action. It’s a different way to see a play staged.
“We are really thrilled. We are probably one of the first local groups in the area to tackle this play.
“It’s a three-act play so is a real test of endurance for the actors, as well as a real backstage effort.”
