Students from an upholstery school in Potten End have been awarded after successfully completing their courses in soft furnishing.
The students from Maggi Loughran’s School of Soft Furnishing received their certificates for passing their course in a ceremony on July 23.
Speaking to BerkhamstedNews, Maggi said the school offers a range of different courses which are accredited by the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers (AMUSF).
She said: “Every year we have an awards ceremony for the students who passed. This year was really nice. There were great successes and really high markings overall for the courses.
“Anyone can get involved in the courses, a lot more people are choosing to do hands on stuff now and get out of the office.
“There’s a real range, from people who are starting out in work to people who have retired and want to learn a new skill.”
As well as the AMUSF courses, there are also a range of leisure courses available.
