A house in Stanmore has been destroyed following a fire yesterday morning (August 7).
Crews were called to a terraced house on St Paul’s Avenue at around 1.45am yesterday with more than 40 firefighters tackling the blaze.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: “Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a house fire on St Paul’s Avenue in Stanmore.
“A terraced house was destroyed by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 01.46 and the fire was under control 03.15. Fire crews from Hendon, Millhill, Stanmore and Wembley fire stations were at the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
