Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of a man approaching a young girl in a Watford park and attempting to coerce her to go with him.
Officers were called to Oxhey Park at around 5.20pm on Saturday, April 29, following a suspicious incident.
It was reported that a man on a bike had approached a 10-year-old girl in the park and asked her to get into his car. She refused, and the man promptly left the area.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “Enquiries are being conducted into the incident and officers are patrolling the area.
“Anyone with information which might assist is asked to contact police quoting ISR 668 of 29 April.
“You can report information online or speak to an operator in the Force Communications Room via the online web chat.”
