Watford-based West Herts Amateur Boxing Club (ABC) celebrated its young stars following an exciting weekend of events.
Jayden Walsh took part in the Oxfordshire Blackbird Ley Show on Saturday, February 8. He showcased his immense power and delivered an awe-inspiring performance, leading to a unanimous win and bringing his record to an impressive 5-0.
Sharing the win on their social media, a spokesperson for West Herts ABC said: “He’s the first from our club to reach this milestone, and we couldn’t be prouder!”
On the same day, Aryan Nithayan took part in the England Boxing Youth Championships, where he sadly lost in the semi-finals.
The spokesperson said: “Though Aryan didn’t get the results he hoped for at the England Boxing Youth Championships in Rotherham, reaching the national semi-finals is no small feat.
“His courage and determination shine bright, and we believe he will only grow stronger from this experience. Remember, it’s not just about winning; it’s about learning and evolving!”
Then on Sunday, February 9, West Herts ABC members Francis Reid and Michael Hindikos took part in the Bil Sha Show in London. Francis sadly lost his match, but Michael took his record to 3-0.
The spokesperson said: “Francis faced a tough match, but every round was a testament to his hard work and resilience. He’ll bounce back even stronger next time, no doubt!
“Michael, on the other hand, delivered a breathtaking performance, overcoming an older opponent with a relentless attack that earned him a unanimous victory!
“We’re immensely proud of all four of our young athletes. Their growth as boxers is inspiring.”
