Abbots Langley pub, The Compasses, along with all other pubs and restaurants in the country had to follow government advice and close to the public amidst pandemic.
The pub is now offering full menu, plus pizza and Sunday roast takeaways at weekends.
People can drive to the pub, where they will see two windows facing on a small extension used as a drive thru momentarily, limiting this way human contact.
Owner of the pub Tony, said: “Last weekend wasn’t as busy with takeaways as the weather was good and people were having barbeques, but the previous weeks it’s been really busy.We sold 62 roast dinners on a sunday.
“A pub is full of men, who are not married and they come to the pub, that is their life. I can imagine a lot of people sat at home now, being very very bored and fed up.
