Northwood Police are hoping to improve relationships with the community by hosting a series of crime prevention stalls across the local area over the autumn months.
The stalls aim to encourage and educate those who are curious about the police, allowing residents to get to know their local police officers and ask questions.
Northwood Police work with Hillingdon Council and Neighbourhood Watch to organise these events, which are typically held near community places such as shops and schools.
The next stall will be held at Waitrose in Northwood from 2pm on Wednesday, October 1.
A local police officer from the Metropolitan Police said: “The main advantages of our crime prevention stalls are to make members of the public and residents aware of what crimes are happening and how they can avoid being a victim of crime.
“We also provide personal safety tips and advice, which also comes along with educating the younger members of our community.”
