STAB WOUNDS: Two people arrested after man stabbed in Watford

Police were called at around 2.15pm yesterday (Wednesday, October 13) to reports of a disturbance on Malden Road, Watford.

Officers attended and located a man who had sustained suspected stab wounds. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.

Officers, including the police helicopter, armed response unit and dog unit, searched the area and two people were subsequently arrested.

A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man, both from Watford, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

The teenager remains in police custody at this time, while the 20-year-old has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Detectives are investigating and anyone with information about the incident is asked to report it.
