Kings Langley Cricket Club had a successful weekend as they achieved three wins on Saturday, August 22.
The first, second and third team all secured victory in their games, which is great news for the club as they get back on their feet after the season was pushed back due to COVID-19.
The successes include the first team beating Stevenage by five wickets and the third team beating Chorleywood by four runs.
Tom Templeton, committee member of Kings Langley Cricket Club, said the team faced a lot of challenges recently.
He said: “Team selection issues haven’t been kind to us, COVID-19 hasn’t been kind to us, and the rain hasn’t been kind to us.”
Tom said the club was able to get together to celebrate as the clubhouse was open with social distancing measures in place.
He said: “To get three teams over the line was fantastic and everyone was there to celebrate.”
