Police have received a report of a damage only, fail to stop road traffic collision in Garston.
Around 2.30 pm on Wednesday August 19 a Porsche collided with a white Volkswagen Polo, which was parked on North Approach, causing damage.
The Porsche then left the scene without leaving any details and no registration number was obtained.
Mum of the car owner, Steph Biggerstaff said: “My daughter Katie is £500 poorer because for now she has to pay her excess to get her car fixed.
“She’s 18 and has only just got her car fixed following a previous incident that wasn’t her fault.
So much distress caused because the Porsche driver didn’t feel the need to leave any details. It shocks me that people are so inconsiderate of others.”
Steph’s message to the driver is: “Come forward before the police catch up with you and you land up with a bill, a fine and points on your licence.
“Insurers are requesting CCTV from Tesco so they will find you!”
At this time, there are no lines of enquiry to allow police to identify the vehicle or its driver.
Anyone with information which may assist is asked to report it online or by calling 101.
