Sinkhole opens up underneath road in Watford

A main road in the middle of Watford has been closed after a sinkhole opened up underneath it.   St John’s Road was shut between Woodford Road and Clarendon Road this morning/Monday to allow investigations to be carried out.   Herts County Council said it could be closed for four days or more.
