Published on: 5th August 2025   |   By: Lizzie Ellis   |   Category: Uncategorized

Chorleywood Film Club (CFC) has marked a special milestone, celebrating 10 seasons of film screenings in the village.

The not-for-profit club is a community cinema, run by film enthusiasts and local volunteers, with the aim of bringing high-quality films to Chorleywood. Established in 2013, CFC has screened over 100 films for residents.

CFC marked the end of its 10th season with a screening of the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown and attendees enjoyed complimentary fizz and cakes.

Keith Frost, chair of CFC, said: “We’re immensely grateful to everyone who has attended screenings or other events since our community cinema started. Fortunately, our programming continues to attract new audience members. With 10 seasons behind us, we’re now looking forward to the next 10!”

After a break for the summer, CFC will be back on Friday, September 19, with a screening of Mr Burton. For more information, visit www.cwfilmclub.org
