Detectives investigating a death outside Burnt Oak Underground station have charged a teenager with murder.
Gabriel Silvera, 19, of Uxbridge Road, Pinner, was charged on Tuesday, November 7, with the murder of Dragos Carabineanu, 46.
Detectives examined CCTV from the station that showed an altercation between Dragos and another man on October 27. When the man punched Dragos, he fell to the ground, striking his head on the pavement. The suspect left the scene on foot.
After the suspect left the scene, two people approached the victim as he lay unconscious. They stole property from him, including his bank card, which was then used in a number of transactions.
Dragos was brought to St Mary’s Hospital in a critical condition on October 28, before he sadly died from his injuries four days later.
A 17-year-old male and a 38-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of theft.
