Whilst there has been talk in the media that Christmas this year will be cancelled this is certainly not the case at All Saints’ Church in Croxley Green.
The church is looking forward to hosting a variety of services which will be slightly different to previous years as they ensure that they meet government guidelines and maintain social distancing.
All Saints’ Church have announced their ‘Foringle’ service which is a cross between a forest church and a Christingle service.
It will take place in the church garden on Sunday, December 13 and you will be able to make your own Christingle as well as a Christmas decoration, listen to the Christmas story and hear some carols.
The church will also host a carol service on December 20 and normal services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
To enable them to meet rules in relation to social distancing you will need to pre book if you want to attend any of these services as they are limited on how many people they can safely have in church.
However, the church will be doing two to three repeats of the Foringle, Christmas Carol Service and the Crib Service at different time slots to enable as many of you as possible to join in.
Anyone can join in with the Nativity trail, where knitted characters from the Nativity story, which will be found in shops and other building’s windows between 11 and 21 December.
