A seven-year-old Watford schoolboy is running an astounding mile per day during lockdown to raise money and awareness for an important local charity.
Finley Dye, a pupil at Parkgate Infant School in North Watford, is running one mile every day of lockdown to earn donations for the Watford Foodbank and Community Relief Trust.
It will be a whopping 27 runs in total, having started from Thursday, November 5 and finishing on December 2.
His dad, Matt, said Finley was completing the runs because he “wants to help those who really need it.”
At the time of writing, Finley has completed 18 runs and raised more than £700.
You may have seen Finley jogging around Bushey Mill Lane, Parkgate Road or Southfield Avenue in North Watford on one of his many runs.
