A specialist music school in Bushey has announced world-renowned violinist, conductor and arranger Dmitry Sitkovetsky as their newest patron.
Dmitry is a prolific recording artist and globally celebrated violinist and conductor. He has performed with the worldʼs leading orchestras and at a number of prestigious festivals, and is now a patron of The Purcell School.
Dmitry said: “It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I accept this wonderful honour to be a new patron of The Purcell School. It marks a new chapter in my professional life – a chance to share my good fortune of having grown up with the giants of the music world with the most exciting young talents at the best music school in the UK.”
School principal Paul Bambrough said: “It is a tremendous privilege to welcome Dmitry Sitkovetsky as the school’s newest patron. It is thrilling to have the opportunity to build a lasting relationship with a musician of such astonishing talent.
