Kings Langley FC have revealed the secret weapon responsible for one of their recent wins.
On New Year’s Day, the side steamrolled their way to an emphatic 4-1 win over local rivals Ware in Division One Central of the Pitching In Southern League.
A few days later, the club revealed on social media what had spurred them on to such an extraordinary victory: Marlie, the seven-year-old daughter of first team manager Jordan Parkes.
Before the big game, Marlie wrote a checklist of instructions the players needed to follow in order to win the game. These included playing your past, always focusing on the ball, and not answering back to her dad.
This advice proved to be exactly what Kings Langley FC needed to triumph against the opposition.
A club spokesperson stated that rumours Jordan’s coaching company JP Pro Football will be rebranded to MP Pro Football are yet to be confirmed.
