A post office in Pinner will remain closed after temporarily closing last year after the postmaster resigned.
The Pinner Green Post Office first shut last year and the Post Office have since been exploring options to reopen the post office.
However, the vacancy has not been filled with company announcing in a letter to David Simmonds CBE MP , that the branch would remain closed.
A spokesperson for the Post Office said: “The vacancy in Pinner has been advertised on our website and a member of the field team has also personally visited the area and so far we have received no interest or formal applications for the position.
“Unfortunately, we have therefore been unable to identify a suitable solution and I’m writing to you and other local representatives to advise you that as there have been no suitable opportunities to re-establish a service, this branch will remain closed.”
