A Hemel Hempstead school is staying committed to providing the highest quality facilities for its students, after unveiling a new sports pitch.
Longdean School has invested in state-of-the-art upgrades to encourage students to take part in sports activities.
Notts Sport, a synthetic surfacing design company, has worked in partnership with contractors Velocity Sports to manage the project, which involved extending the old sports pitch and adding a new eco-friendly artificial grass surface.
Duncan Bennett, managing director of Notts Sport, said: “At Notts Sport, we take immense pride in leading the way, driving innovation, and shaping sports facilities that embrace sustainability.
“Longdean School showcases our commitment with its cutting-edge unfilled 3G football pitch, featuring a carpet that proudly boasts 100 per cent recyclability, one of the first in the UK. We believe in creating a brighter future, where excellence and environmental consciousness go hand in hand.”
