A staff member who has worked at a Rickmansworth school for over 22 years is now moving on to new pastures.
Mrs Elliott has been a valued and dedicated member of Arnett Hills JMI School for the last two decades. She first started at the school as a parent volunteer before moving into a key role in the office team.
She supported the parent teacher association in their work to raise school funds, and always welcomed people to the school with a friendly smile, kindness and empathy.
Even in her last week, an adult visited the school as a prospective parent and Mrs Elliott recognised her from when she was a pupil.
Mrs Elliott said: “I have such fond memories of this very special school, first from when my own children started here over 25 years ago, and later when I began work here.
“It has been a joy and privilege to watch so many children flourish, grow in confidence and become wonderful young adults. Being part of their journey has truly been one of the greatest rewards of my time here.”
The school told Ricky News: “Everyone at Arnett Hills wishes Mrs Elliott good luck in her new exciting ventures and hopes she stays in touch.”
