Police in Hertfordshire have confirmed the death of a man in Cassiobury Park following a concern for welfare incident.
Emergency services were called to the Watford open space in the late afternoon of Monday, May 30, remaining there until 8:15pm. Police have now stated they are preparing a file for the coroner after the discovery of the body.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary added: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this sad time.”
