A driver vanished yesterday (May 31) after the car they were driving left the A41 and flipped onto its roof in a nearby field.
Hertfordshire Police were called to the incident at around 2.36pm, which took place just off the A41 roundabout in Hemel Hempstead.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “Police were called at 2.36pm on Tuesday, May 31, to reports that a blue BMW M4 Convertible had exited off the A41 and flipped onto its roof.
“It happened just off the roundabout into Hemel Hempstead, towards Aylesbury (northbound).
“Officers attended, alongside the fire service.
“The occupant(s) had left the car and a search was carried out for them, but they were not traced. They later made contact with police and enquiries are continuing.”
