A developer in Watford is moving ahead with plans to create 190 flats on the site of a former car showroom.
Developers London Square says they plan on replacing the existing Glyn Hopkin showroom and forecourt in Lower High Street, with apartment buildings providing around 190 homes.
The plans will comprise of a mixture of one, two and three bedroom homes.
London Square had a public consultation on May 18, 19, and 21 ahead of submitting a planning application to Watford Borough Council, with the goal of learning what residents and workers in the area thought about its intentions.
A spokesperson for London Square said: “The scheme includes high-quality homes in a design that comprises of two wings fronting Dalton Way and Lower High Street sat either side of a slightly taller central block, located at the prominent junction interchange.”
Feedback can also be given on the consultation website, which went live on May 16, at www.lslowerhighstreet.co.uk
