A Northwood Hills organisation that works to train your brain got a special visit recently from the Mayor of Hillingdon.
Greeted by the CEO and founder of Brain Abilitiez, Shammi Kapoor, and relationship and events manager Moira Parry, cllr Roy Chandal was welcomed to the group’s headquarters in Argyle House.
Over the past five years, Brain Abilitiez has been offering its tailored ‘Brain Training Programmes’ to children and adults alike, designed to improve learning ability and mental performance.
Mr Kapoor said: “Brain training has changed my life. I completed a brain training program when a doctor had referred me as I had been diagnosed with having autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD & depression.
“After doing the program, my family and friends could see that I had changed and could do things that I found impossible before. I was able to live a better life whilst having a more efficient brain. I am driven by positivity and my passion for maximizing human potential.
“It is my goal to change people’s lives the same way it has changed mine”.
The programme has been able to help those dealing with dyslexia, ADHD and ASD, and aid those just wanting to improve their mental proficiencies.
The Mayor was clearly impressed by what he saw, saying to Kapoor and Parry: “I am genuinely proud of both you and the work you have done in setting up this fantastic life changing experience. God Bless.” He’s also planned a return visit.
