Police have released the CCTV images of two men they would like to identify following an attempted burglary in Watford.

At around 9am on Tuesday April 5 a man was disturbed in a back garden on Radlett Road as he was trying to force open a window of a property. He fled over a fence into Link Road.

Entry was not gained to the property and nothing was taken.

Detective Constable Jennifer Stoddart, who is investigating, said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of this incident.

“Perhaps you were driving on Link Road and caught something of relevance on a dash cam?

“Additionally, the two men in the photos were in the area at the time of the incident and may have information which could assist the investigation. While their faces are covered, someone may recognise them from their build and clothing worn, if you think you know who they are then please get in touch.
