Tring’s budding comedians looking for their first minutes on stage are being invited to apply to be part of the town’s iconic comedy night.
Tring’s Roving Comedy Night, now in its 15th year, has become a popular fixture in the town’s calendar.
Each year, four local venues are filled with groups of comedians made up of professionals and a group of locals who have “trained for the scariest and most exhilarating night of their lives”.
The audience stays put at their allotted pub whilst the comedians rove around the town, visiting each venue.
Founder Ben Moorhouse said that it is a joy to watch up-and-coming comedians take their first steps on stage.
If you are interested in trying your hand at comedy, the organisers are now receiving applications for the training scheme.
The training starts in May and lasts for eight weeks under the tutelage of comedian Logan Murray.
Those interested in joining are asked to contact Ben via email at ben@get-stuffed.biz
The comedy night will take place on June 30, with tickets expected to go on sale in May.
