IT’S BEAN GOOD!: Hunton Bridge coffee shop owner bids community farewell

Published on: 20th February 2024   |   By: Darius Morgan   |   Category: Uncategorized

The community was left bereft after a beloved Hunton Bridge coffee shop suddenly closed its doors for good earlier this month.

A statement was made by the owner of Bean Here Tony King on the café’s Facebook page on Friday, February 9, announcing the closure with immediate effect.

Tony, who started Bean Here in 2015, is looking forward to spending more time with his family and “actually having a weekend off”.

He said: “After nearly 10 years of running Bean Here, it is with a mixture of sadness and a hint of excitement that I have decided to close.

“It has been a lot of fun serving you and I am eternally grateful to all my customers over the years, some of you who have been coming right from the start, goodness knows why!

“One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that there are many kind-hearted and generous people out there, so thank you for reaffirming my faith in humanity.

“In closing, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your good company and wish you every happiness for the future.

“That’s all folks!”
