Berkhamsted FC narrowly defeated St Neots 1-0 this afternoon (March 7) thanks to a first half goal from Josh Chamberlain.
The result means the Comrades stay at the top of the table and are now nine games unbeaten in the BetVictor Southern Central League.
A goal on the 18th minute from Chamberlain was enough in the end to take three points back to Broadwater.
Berkhamsted beat Halesowen Town during the week to leapfrog them in the table, but they are still breathing down their neck after getting back to winning ways convincingly against Kempston.
The Comrades are back in action next weekend as they welcome Corby Town to Broadwater.
