Kings Langley FC beat Leiston 4-0 away from home this afternoon (March 7) as their incredible form since the turn of the year continues.
The unbeaten run in the league now stretches to ten games, after four different goal scorers this afternoon was enough for Kings to comfortably secure the victory.
The first goal came on the 17th minute after poor defending from Leiston allowed Will Hoskins to take full advantage as he fired the ball beyond Sam Donkin in goal.
On the hour mark, Jordan Parkes arguably put the game to bed after his curled effort gave Donkin no chance to double Kings’ advantage.
It got from bad to worse for Leiston on the 69th minute as Matthew Whichelow put the game beyond any doubt with a well taken goal. .
The home side showed their frailties in defence once more on the 78th minute and they completely switched off from a corner, and Stephen Ward took full advantage as his effort hits the crossbar and went into the net.
Kings Langley are now just three points off the play-offs and hope to continue their form next weekend away from home against 15th placed Biggleswade Town.
