The Village Barbershop in Abbots Langley turned into a film set last month.
The barbers in High Street was used to film a Peperami advertisement, which caused some local excitement.
The filming took place on Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16.
Councillor Stephen Giles-Medhurst said: “It meant a few parking bays on the High Street were temporarily suspended, and there was some brief stop/go traffic control.
“The crew worked closely with us to keep everything running smoothly. They parked off-site at a local farm and supported local businesses for refreshments including the Boys Home for extras and crew.
“And yes, they did have two friendly sheep in a short scene but animal welfare was a top priority, with a licensed wrangler and a vet on hand.”
One resident said: “I think it is great that Peperami are filming in Abbots. I can’t wait to see the village in the advert.”
